The delightful suburban living that is Magalang, Pampanga

The historic town of Magalang in Pampanga is a first-class municipality known for its thriving cultural and food tourism industries popular to both local and foreign tourists.

Magalang is a growing business district with a strategic location. It has connecting expressways to the Clark International Airport and Export Processing Zone, cutting down the travel time to 52 minutes. A visit to Magalang would be incomplete without sampling its local delicacies carabao-milk-based pastillas de leche, caramel, yema, leche flan and brazo de Mercedes. The Pampanga native delicacies of tibuk-tibuk, kalame, tamales and the suman bulagta with latik.

The municipality is replete with educational institutions from elementary to college. This includes the Pampanga Agricultural College -- occupying some 700 hectares of government agricultural lands.
